6. Urgent Action To Make Sure Votes Counted!
I have updated the Ohio Secretary of State Blackwell action because the candidates asking for a recount in Ohio are demanding that he be recused from being a tie breaker concerning whether many provisional ballots will be discarded or counted. He will be sent these ballots soon so you must act ASAP. This action and other important and timely actions can be found here http://www.stolenelection2004.com/alerts.html

Ohio Secretary of State Blackwell has backed down on the issue of discarding ballots if their birthdates are not on the covers because of pressure! Now he needs to recuse himself. However, Blackwell is still the tie breaker when the two Democrats and two Republicans disagree on whether the provisional ballots they are counting.

PLEASE CONTACT BLACKWELL NOW AND SAY SOMETHING LIKE: " In order for their to be no doubt in people's minds that the election was counted in a fair way, it would be best if you, as Chair of the Bush Campaign in Ohio, recused yourself from being the tie breaker in disputes between Republic and Democratic counters of Provisional Ballots. Someone non-partisan should take this role instead.

If you do not recuse yourself I want you to know that I and the whole world will be watching the Ohio count and if it seems that people were disenfranchised because of your bias, the results of this election will not seem settled or fair which will cause distress in this country and the whole world. As a result I implore you not to disenfranchise voters based on technicalities!"

BLACKWELL'S CONTACT INFO: J. Kenneth Blackwell 180 E. Broad St., 16th Floor Columbus, OH 43215

Phone: (614) 466-2585 and ask to be transferred to where you can make comment on elections
Email: blackwell@sos.state.oh.us

If you want to do more, you can also contact Ohio media
http://www.congress.org/congressorg/dbq/media/?command=state_search&state=oh

and the Ohio Governor at http://governor.ohio.gov/contactinfopage.asp to pressure Blackwell.

This action and other important and timely actions can be found here

7. Left message on Blackwells voice mail.
Just a heads up. The receptionist who answered my call was very short when I asked to be directed to a place where I could make comments on the discarding of provisional ballots.

10. What a joke
It was a 10 second blip about how the Glibs raised more than $130,000. No analysis, nothing. But what would you actually expect? CNN is such garbage these days.

11. Update
Candy devoted 1 or 2 seconds to mention the Green/Libertarian recount in Ohio. She mentioned that the candidates "do not want to overturn the election, but, they just want to make sure that all votes count". She also mentioned the race in Washington where the dem candidate is now winning.

Nothing negative...but brief. But, hey, at least no mention of "conspiracy theory".

12. CNN - Crap National News
Give them a while to crunch some data and put a so called expert up there to debunk the whole thing, We need to keep the pressure on Katherine Blackwell, he has been spanked 2 times before the elections for trying to make people jump through hoops and now he is backing down on the DOB's on the prov ballots we must keep the pressure on.

16. the mere mention of a recount in Ohio...
....was enough to generate about a bunch of positive activity in a Salon thread about election theft. There are a whole lot of Americans (probbaly around 56 million) who voted for Kerry whose ears will prick up at the mention of "recount" no matter how off hand and insignificant the Mainstream Press tries to make it sound.

17. Public Radio mentioned recount on Morning Addition this morn
Public Radio had a real short piece on Morning Addition this morning. At least they got their facts straight this time. I e-mailed them about an error they made on about the 11th when they had a short piece on the recount. It wasn't much, but it's a start.

19. Let me tell you, EVERYONE knows about this now
I was sitting in class in Arkansas, and someone mentioned exit polls and the whole class nearly exploded. Not in a bad way, but in a "I have been repressed" way. Everyone is ready to start yelling about this.
