Poll question: What will John Kerry do if the recounts PROVE he won?
I'm starting to wonder if he really wants the job. Logic says yes, but my lying eyes tell another story! I realize this poll will be extremely inflammatory, but I am curious about what DUers feel about Kerry's current intentions.

1. As recount will be after electorial college - House/senate must accept
recount.

I can not see how they would not.

2. Wouldn't it make him a "flip flopper" again to accept the win?

11. He's already the flip flopper in the GOP's eyes
If the votes weren't counted right

and the recount is done by other parties

and Ohio flips for him in a significant way

then he should accept the presidency

Hell, even if it is by 537 votes, HE SHOULD ACCEPT IT!

12. handing it off
I don't think he would hand it off because he had no balls...would you want to take over that clusterfuck in Iraq? Look at what Chimpy has done just since the election.

Whether Kerry takes over from Bush now or some poor sucker takes over four years from now they are royally screwed.

10. I'm mad too. I have just a smidgen of faith left though.
If Kerry folds when the recounts say he won, I will fight like a shedevil to make sure he isn't the 2008 nominee.

on this, and *Seriously so.
Jim simply cannot believe this is more than a message board”. Excerpt...
Hubby: “it is delusional to think just b/c you are posting to a message board, there’s some kind of ‘secret gov’ org coming straight from an underground ketchup bottle or st.”
Me: “it’s not secret—it’s as far out in the open as is possible.”
Hubby: “so what are you saying? it’s a secret underground government?”
Me: “no, I am saying there's been a massive campaign and investigation headquartered at this site for weeks now, and we are about to overturn the results of this election. The other thing I’m saying is that the pieces are ALREADY in place to help this country run more smoothly, democratically and peacefully. Believe me. I’ve seen it. I’ve been in there for days.”
“show me some evidence”
“i can’t, there’s too much. You’ve been to the sites. you’ve seen them. ”
He still won’t believe, and his last words to me... Your involvement in this is destroying our relationship ... cut like a knife.
So I said: If I can get someone to call you and tell you I am NOT imagining this, would you believe me then?
Depends what they say.
Can you please help me save my marriage before it’s too late? I mean, I wanted to bring the Chimp down, not my marriage.
somebody out there just give me a calll...barring that, and better yet, mr kerry step up to the plate...................

19. He will graciously accept and ask the real flip flopper to stand up
then Bush will have to come forward and say .....

I lost the presidency before I stole it!

I was in the Oval office before I was out of it!

I was choosing new cabinet members before I was switched to choosing prison tasks!

22. don't kid your self...
I think there will be enough "doubt" about results that favor Kerry in either Ohio or Florida that their respective SOS will not certify the result. Meaning if Kerry wins in either at this stage the election will be decided by the (republican controlled) congress.
