NC Judge Refuses to Halt Recount
The vote count is still going on in NC and luckily for us one judge is on our side. This story ran in the Charlotte Observer today:

Thought everyone would like to read it.

2. Why is it that it is always a Republican trying to get votes thrown out!
And why is it that this is once again barely covered by the mainstream media outlets. (msm)

3. It is amazing how Republicans are the ones stressing over recounts.
You'd think they'd want to prove to their base that they won honestly.

Oh. right. What was I thinking, honest Republicans? :eyes:

4. I have a question:
Are they recounting all the candidates in NC, or just some state positions? Like, are they recounting presidential votes as well? I still think Kerry would lose NC, but by a lot less, which would put more votes in his column toward the popular vote.

That it does _not_ include the presidential race (per Ketih Olbermann's blog).

7. why are they counting all the other races but the presidential one?
if there's enough evidence to warrant a recount of one race shouldn't the others be circumspect as well?!!!!!

5. I applaud him.
It seems that maybe he wants the votes to be counted honestly.
It is as it should be. What if WE had the hackers? Votes should be counted, and the people's voices heard.
