Does anyone have link to article about Opti-Scans not counting "pens"
because of the "resolution of the screen" not set to include pencils or ball point pens?

We had so many Early Voters in the week before 11/2 that there may not have been enough of the "sanctioned pens" to go around. We are told folks were filling in the ballots with "ball point" and "#2 Pencils," but some folks here are saying the "Opti-Scan Counting Machines" might only register votes marked in the "pens which go with the machine."

IOW...that the "Scanner" is set to a "resolution" that only records it's own "pen marks" for the "connct the arrows" or "mark the bubble/circle" on ballots.

In the rush of folks to polling places where we had "Early Voting" and during the "11/2 Formal Election Day" there may have been many folks who had to use pencil or pen instead of the "sanctioned pen provided by the polling place."

If Opti-Scans are set to a certain resolution to read the ink of the "polling pen" what happened to the votes filled in with Pen and Pencil?

Anyone have a link to the "Opti-Scan Resolution Setting" article???

If so, please send it to me. It might be important for North Carolina...Thanks!!!! MUCH!!!!! :hi:
