Please try again later.

For someone who was supposed to have the real scoop and evidence on voter fraud in Fla, I'd say this is a pretty piss poor way of communicating. Based on this, I would probably vote for the other guy.

The bad modulation is giving me a headache. So far Fisher is repeating the well known allegations about Fla and Ohio but nothing whatsoever about his claim of evidence.

So Jeff Fischer has the biggest story since watergate, and this is the only forum he can find?

Guess I should have tuned in first before I let everyone else know! ....lol

15. OK, based on this I have come to a conclusion
As much as I would like to think that a bunch of juvenile delinquents in a detention home were forced to hack into voting computers and change the vote nationwide, as Fisher has previously suggested, I do not think advocating such an idea would be wise.

Better I think would be to suggest that Fisher arrived on Earth from the planet Tinfoil.

People in Florida who knew a number of the names in he's mentioned and are familiar with what really goes on in Florida juvenile detention centers found that his story actually added up very well.

22. A Rovian trap. A lightning rod to divert the media from the real stuff
like what Bev Harris is digging up.

This is something custom-designed to allow the media to flaunt and laugh at those crazy conspiracy theorists.

Jeff Fisher may not know it, but I suspect it is a setup.

59. I'm beginning to agree.
Hide a nugget of truth (election fraud) in a crazy implausible story told by an unreliable person (which, I don't know, he may or may not be) to TOTALLY sink the story.

Remember "Fortunate Son"?

Remember the CBS debacle -- basically the truth hidden in a dubious memo, so the whole things goes down in flames?

Let's put a little distance between the issue and this guy.

43. Here is a biography of Fisher
Look, I hate to say it, but this guy sounds a bit loony. He talks wildly about all these conspiracies he's unconvered, but to date I have seen no hard evidence.

And he's apparently run for Congress twice and I haven't heard a thing about him until AFTER the election. And I'm a political junkie by the way.

By his own biography he does not mention one single job he's ever held. He mentions some volunteering and the like, which is commendable. But what makes this guy think he's qualified to do anything? Serve in Congress? Investigate major crimes? I see no evidence of that either.

http://www.jefffisherforcongress.com/indexenglish.html

Sorry folks, unless proven otherwise, Fisher is a kook. I really hope I'm wrong.

44. he has a job
Currently, Jeff Fisher is employed in the Neurodiagnostic Industry.
His educational background consists of an Associates of Science in accountancy with a concentration in economics and international affairs. He also attended an photography school in Rhode Island where he met his wife of 16 years and graduated their two year program with honors also.
Since moving to Florida over four years ago, Jeff Fisher has not served on any political committees for the sole purpose of devoting his spare time to listening and remaining involved on a personal level across the entire State of Florida regarding medical care, civil liberties, taxation, restoration of the Everglades, law enforcement, prison reform and the loss of individual Voting Rights since November 2000.
Although Mr. Fisher has spent 31 years as a Activist in the political arena promoting other candidates, he has gravitas in connecting with voters and issues that reflects his District.

The part he wrote mentions nothing of any work experience. You'd think he'd mention that. And no further details are provided relative to his work history/experience other than the industry he is currently in. One throwaway line on his entire website about his work and work history.

I mean, come on.

49. and why.....????
It mentions a degree he holds. But it DOES NOT SAY WHERE FROM? WHAT COLLEGES? WHAT YEARS?

Isn't that basic resume info for someone who wants to serve in Congress? How can we verify his job, education, qualifications etc. if he just makes blanket assertions with no details to be checked?

No college or school names. No employer names. No specific job titles. Just a vague "industry" That is pure bullshit.

What specifically makes this guy credible? Is there anything anyone can point to?

In the 40 minutes or so before I got booted I heard him talking about the Bay Point school, how bad Diebold's source and CEO are, and how he is talking to Nader...
But not one mention of the hard physical evidence that the BBV crew pulled today. IMO someone who leads the with conspiracy theories that, as yet, have no hard public evidence and neglects the mounting factual evidence of fraud should not be taking the lead on this.

58. Exerpt from KO's blog re: Fisher
The purported linking of failed Florida congressional candidate Jeff Fisher and Ralph Nader, trumpeted on Fisher’s website, is news to Nader’s spokesman Kevin Zeese.

That’s particularly troublesome for Mr. Fisher because it is to Zeese that the connection is attributed:

“Kevin Zeese,” the Fisher site reads, “officially announced that Presidential Candidate Ralph Nader will be consulting with Jeff Fisher and Jan Schneider regarding the investigation of voter fraud and a statewide recount for the state of Florida.”

When the nose-to-the-grindstone Countdown staff (as opposed to me, vacation boy) contacted Zeese, he said it was the first he’d heard of any ‘official announcement.’ Zeese acknowledges he’d spoken to Fisher, and surmises, correctly I think, that Fisher (he lost in the Florida 16th) and Schneider (she lost in the 13th, to Katherine Harris) were trying to increase their credibility by tying their efforts to the Nader campaign. Given the pounding Nader’s gotten for four years, Zeese laughed out loud at the irony.

Fisher has been cited in many places as claiming he has firm evidence of deliberate computer-hacking in the Florida vote, and was awaiting FBI agents with whom he was to share it. Not to dismiss him or his claims, but the show’s contact with him was not encouraging. He spoke vaguely of sources and whispered a lot.

Hell, ‘Deep Throat’ from Watergate whispered a lot.

Then again, so does the guy who wanders around Columbus Circle claiming the government caused the Red Sox to win the World Series.

We’ll reserve judgment on Mr. Fisher’s claims— and keep them out of this space until and unless they have stronger legs. But the “consulting” role with Nader isn’t the case, and bodes ill for Fisher’s other assertions.

---------------------

I don't think I would put too much stock in Mr. Fisher. I hope he doesn't end up hurting the cause.
