from Donna Brazile? I wrote a scathing email in response to the DCCC's request for money for the election in Louisiana, and received this back:


We understand your concerns and frustrations, and recognize that there have been
many voting irregularities. Several Democratic Congressmen have requested and investigation
from the General Accounting Office, as described in this story among many others:

The request goes as far as we can go, since despite the many problems, no proof
of organized and wide scale voter fraud has become apparent. As New York Representative
Jerry Nadler noted, "At this point it does not look like there are going to
be so many votes it would overturn the election... But if there are problems, we
want to correct them."

Again, we hope that you'll stick with us, and you will be certain to hear from us

I'm going about my merry way and supporting the causes I believe in, including Democracy for America, People for the American Way, the Human Rights Campaign, etc.

I'm still mulling over my future support for the party, which is scurrying rightward as we speak, placating the Rethuglicans at every turn.

You know, I'm not a political strategist. It's their job to save party. It's my job to fight for the causes I believe and my daughter's future. I'm not convinced that they are very helpful in my fight.
