.. weekend and that * won by such a wide margin (300k+ votes) that it wasn't necessary to count military votes. I think on Countdown on Monday too they mentioned this.
Interesting to note too that the FL certification allegedly only had like 3 officials and 1 newsperson in attendance.

There are other races on the ballot besides president. Some local races have been extremely close. My understanding is that they have to count all the votes. Part of the reason the final vote certification is delayed is because they are waiting for military ballots to come in.
I'd like to know how the military vote broke down. My hunch is that it did not go for Bush as widely as the pre-electron polls suggested.
