It says Bush won 47-43 in the popular vote, and got 324 electoral votes in 33 states and was leading in 4 more.

i gotta say, i use dummy type all the time as page place holders. but as a kinda paranoid person i checked that page with the real results too. my verdict - page placeholder.

and most people realized that at the time... the bogus numbers... which did not come close to adding up to 100% just show they were plugging in numbers to fill the space. Picking Bush wasn't smart as a public relations matter... they shudda had it a tie or something.
