Lee County FL - What happened to 743 votes?

On Nov 10 the State of FL posted the following results for Lee County FL:


Bush / 144,414
Kerry / 94,365

Then on Nov. 16 the State of FL posted the following results for Lee County FL:

Bush / 144,176
Kerry / 93,860


Total Adjustment

Bush / -238
Kerry / -505

They are the only county in the entire State to adjust their numbers downward. Every other country either posted no change or added votes. So what happened in Lee County?

1. looks like the numbes went up, not down

Bush went from 144176 to 144414
Kerry went from 93860 to 94365

I think you've been looking at numbers too long.

The results from 11/10/04 are from a hard copy that I printed of the results that were posted on the FL DOS site at that time.
