Is This the Same Cybernet? Building Raided in Grand Rapids
Edited on Thu Nov-18-04 10:19 AM by AmyCrat
CyberNET Group building raided in Grand Rapids
http://www.woodtv.com/Global/story.asp?S=2578803&nav=0RceTEfz
<snip>---
(Update, Grand Rapids, November 17, 2004, 5:27 p.m.) Federal officers from about every agency you can name entered The CyberNET Group building on South Division Avenue, south of Fulton Street, in Grand Rapids Wednesday morning.

They seized all electronic data including computers and financial information connected to the company. Federal agents brought in truckloads of equipment, and according to employees, they will likely be here for days collecting information.
---<snip>

Is this the same CyberNet company talked about related to CalTech and Bay Point?

4. There are two Cybernets--it might not be the right one...someone check
The CyberNET on Division in Grand Rapids was the one that the FBI raided: http://www.cybernetengineering.com/ This is an IT company.

It doesn't appear to be the same as the defense industry-linked Cybernet Systems Corporation in Ann Arbor: http://www.cybernet.com/index.html
They even have a page discussing how often they are mistaken for other people: http://www.cybernet.com/info/cybernet.html

Which one is connected to Bay Point?

5. Sure sounds like it
Owner has been involved in fraud. International company. Local news just said his name, but I missed it. Computers and data impouded yesterday. I think the local news needs this link.

11. hmmmm
Think I'm off in the blue here but...

a whois on cybernet-usa.com gives this:

and a whois on the IP 208.49.57.3 gives this:

208.49.57.3 = < cybernet-usa.com >
network: Class-Name: network
network: ID: 6000.208.49.57.0/24

which seemed to lead me nowhere, however, I did look at glbx.net, not sure what their relationship is as they just updated the record.

This what I got:

Which isn't really much of anything until I googled them and came up with

http://securities.stanford.edu/1019/GX01/

which seemed to be something but I didn't understand it. I also found this:

BUSINESS/FINANCIAL DESK | March 21, 2003, Friday

Pentagon Adviser Is Also Advising Global Crossing

By STEPHEN LABATON (NYT) 1179 words
Late Edition - Final , Section C , Page 1 , Column 5

DISPLAYING FIRST 50 OF 1179 WORDS - Even as he advises the Pentagon on war matters, Richard N. Perle, chairman of the influential Defense Policy Board, has been retained by the telecommunications company Global Crossing to help overcome Defense Department resistance to its proposed sale to a foreign firm, Mr. Perle and lawyers involved in the case...

Anyway...probably nothing...just got a chill when I wandered into this article.

12. Global Crossing is telecom, their IP provider it looks like, a caveat ...

... so far I haven't seen a tie-in to the election. There are many different companies whose names start with Cybernet.

15. appears to be same company
on BBV:

http://www.blackboxvoting.org/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.cgi?az=show_thread&omm=0&om=56&forum=DCForumID4122
<snip>---
In the allegations report, a certain vendor described that such a network company was financing the operation through Mel Sembler and a few other bad eggs connected to the head of the game map. Another company was described as giving source to certain code.....Turns out CyberN is indeed an open source code distributor to several organizations, ultimately not even limited to voting companies. Also turns out an employee named Guitterez works(or had worked) there and created actual databases for elections across the USA and easily the globe, that are certainly not MS Access.

http://engrm.com/personnel/gutierrez-alan/experiential.html

Also interestingly enough, the state and F.B.I just barely seized CyberNET Ventures Inc capital in Michigan state for all of its computer systems. Every single last one, in one large effort, and refused to state why they had them seized and impounded.
---<snip>

Appears it is the same company!

18. THERE IS NO CONNECTION! Wrong Cybernet
Yet another thread that needs to be shut down.

CyberNET Group is not the same as Cybernet Systems, or Cybernet Software, or Cybernet Services, or Cybernet Ventures.

A poster by the name of Auditors at BBV, who also posts as Activisms at commoncausecommonsense started all this crap.

A thorough review of his so called evidence shows that he has no evidence, and has been merely having fun sending people off on wild goosechases.
