could you republicans please leave your bush signs in your yards
and your bush stickers on your cars?

see, i prefer to know whose christmas open house invitations to decline. i'd like to know whom not to let over in traffic.

if i'm about to leave a parking space at the mall and someone's waiting behind me with their turn signal on, with a quick glance i could decide whether to move along quickly and let someone else have my space or count the change in the change cup and listen to a couple of songs on the radio before backing out.

oh, and all you businesses that are so pro-bush? could you put stickers in your windows or on your front door? that way i won't have to walk all the way in before deciding not to spend my money with you.

thanks!

8. I've got a Bush-Cheney person on my small, very blue block
He has BC stickers in his windows as well as on his cars and flys an American flag and a Semper Fi flag 24/7, has the Wall Street journal delivered dutifully to his door everyday. He is an independently wealthy guy who is also an ex-Marine. I always wonder why he's not over there fighting since he seems to be so gung-ho, he's in his early thirties and in perfect health. I guess formerly enlisted men of the monied class don't get called up again in the back door draft. Odd.

is an ex-"fighter pilot." Lots of repugs like to compensate for their short-comings by claiming things they didn't earn. Kind of like Miss Rice and her phantom degrees. Or the 20-something repug who stated on CNN at a Kerry rally that he did "Six tours of duty in Desert Storm I." I almost fell on the floor laughing upon hearing that bit of trailer-trash propaganda! These people (rethugs) think if they say it, then we must believe it. :puke:

38. In regards to my wearing a Kerry T-shirt...
...at work, someone asked, "Well, how would you like it if others wore T-shirts with big Ws on them?" (my T-shirt had only the initials JFK).

My reply was, "I'd like that a lot. I need to know who my enemies are."

If I saw your "W"-esque sticker I might be tempted to stomp on the pedal if you were trying to change lanes in front of me...

But I will admit I've been extra courteous to drivers with Democratic stickers that I have been able to positively identify!

11. Well...
Has anyone seen a Honda Civic with an actual bush sign on it. Here in MN I have never seen it... and I've been looking.

Maybe I should get an additional to make it more apparent. I had a K/E sticker but had to take it off on 11/3 out of disgust. Ripped it right after I heard he conceded

I'm in MN too and I've been taking stock. These B/C stickers and magnetic yellow ribbons are always on SUVs, pickups, Caddies, etc. I've taken to tailgating them AND giving them evil glares. God, the other day I drove by an SUV with two B/C stickers and there was this god-awful looking couple inside and the guy was picking his nose. EWWWW

My neighbors across the street throw loud beer parties every Friday and Saturday night and their "guests" leave empties on my lawn. These guys had TWO big-ass Bush signs in their yard and a banner on the house "We support the troops". One of them parked on my side of the street and was half-way up my lawn so I left a note on his truck to keep it ON the street. Now we have glaring contests.

24. spend a buck and that's all you have to do to support the troops
That's the extent of support most people that put those things on their cars offer the troops. They don't write letters to the editor or their legislaters telling them to end this war of lies ASAP. They also don't send letters to theses same places demanding better pay to our troops. They don't protest this immoral, illegal war. They pay a buck, with profits going to China, puff up their chests with pride and say I've done my part.

(I said most not all, I know their are exceptions.)

6. Well, if the person is driving a Hummer or Suburban.....
....it's a BIG clue - sticker or no.

The NEXT big clue are all those people who are only one paycheck away from living out-of-their-car....they all voted for bush also (I work with some of them). The likelihood of them throwing any big hoopla's is small...unless you're in to car parties, byob, byof (bring-your-own-food) and/or tail-gating?....I dunno anymore....

My sister and her husband swore they'd never get an SUV/Truck. They detest Bush. They have twin boys-each 14yo. They live in Spokane,WA(Bush Country). They are going to Canada if they start drafting.

I do have several well to do friends who can't stand Bush as well. I think alot of people used their heads regardless of party affilation.
Remember the exit polls.

My 10 year old daughter refuses to allow anyone to touch the Kerry sign. But its okay cause it annoys the hell out of my 17 year old friends Parents who are republicans. My 19 year old daughter loves it lol. So the sign stays as my 10 year old put it till Bush is no longer in office.

29. My bumper sticker stays...
...as does a "Kerry Edwards" balloon which curiously is still afloat in my livingroom. Each day I check the air, and unlike most balloons which lose air in 3 weeks, somehow it's miraculously how it was early on Election Day when Kerry was STILL ahead in the polls.

I take it as omen, and keep the faith!:bounce:

19. I've got Christmas LIGHTS around my Kerry Sign!!
And keep them lit through the night, every night.

The people who have asked me about it are COMPLETELY IN THE DARK about the election fraud. They haven't heard anything about it. When I tell them this election isn't over, they reply, in an innocent and confused voice, "what do you mean?"

AND 2 have said, well let me know what happens...too bad the media can't do that!!!

ANYWAY, PUT SOME LIGHTS AROUND YOUR KERRY SIGNS!!! KEEP THE DREAM BURNING BRIGHT!!

22. I drive a Honda Civic
That still has two Kerry stickers on the bumper and one "No More Bushit" sticker on the back windown. I'm going to take the Kerry stickers off because frankly, I've lost respect for him for the way he ran his campaign and the way he conceded the election.
I'll keep the No More Bushit sticker on and I'll probably get a sticker that says "if you're not outraged, you're not paying attention."

Time to start putting our money where our mouth is. Especially since the Blue States have the money!

37. biodiesel
If you can buy an old diesel Mercedes and locate some people who would be willing to learn to make biodiesel (diesel from vegetable oil) you could bypass the whole fuel monster, except for the motor oil. A co-op is making it in Berkeley and I'm going to buy an old Mercedes because I am sick of feeding that particular beast!

36. we need to start boycotting
corporate America in general. Things to look into: banking, chain stores, agribusiness, clothing, mortgage interest. Try to find out in which ways you are personally feeding the beast, and try to find local alternatives: Credit unions, community banks, farmer's markets, locally owned stores, try to get out of debt and never get back in (yeah, that one is for me), socially conscious investments, stuff like that.

Also, I just realized that I should not have rolled over my t-bills, but next time I won't do it. I'll find another way to invest my money.

I tend to be a bit more curteous to the KE sticker bearers as well.

On the way home last night I noticed a large SUV with the Bullsh/Cheney sticker on it and two spots that obviously used to have ribbon stickers that had been removed. I wondered if it was because of the recent shooting or something?

and was at the grocery store. Next to me was a beautiful pearl white Escalade that was encroaching on my space with a big ole ugly "W" sticker on the back window.
I had to open my daughters door "extra" hard and "extra" wide to accomodate that sticker.
BTW..the beater is red--and so is the mark on the Escalade!

43. Well
Then he should have left a can opener so I could get into my car--I told you-he was in my space. Ya want I crawl through the roof or something? If you park in your space and theirs where someone can't even open their doors--then you deserve to have your doors dinged up--granted I was a little more bouyant about it than usual--but its not something I have ever made a habit of. I guess since they were Bush supporters they just felt they could take my space and theirs...Pretty typical.
