What's worse: MARCH TO IMPEACH NOW - or let Bush trash the $, army, & CIA?
Edited on Thu Nov-18-04 07:35 PM by scottxyz
What would cripple the country more - marching in the streets now demanding Bush's impeachment, or letting Bush continue to trash the dollar, the army, the CIA and the Constitution?

= = =

Either we go on a peaceful strike (say, before Dec 12, when the Electoral Collage meets to confirm this fraudulent vote) and close down this corrupt government and media now ...

... or Bush-BinLaden-Co will close it down for us at some time in the future. They're not protecting us in ANY way now - the army is overstretched in the wrong country, the dollar is tanking, the big-city ports aren't protected, and now they're dismantling the CIA. That SWAGGERING CLOSET-CASE FAGGOT Bush (like Hitler) is going after our "Blue" States and our honest generals and CIA analysts - and flinging the doors open to terrorists so he can generate more Reichtags fires.

The handwriting's on the wall folks. Hello, they've stolen TWO elections now - they don't give a fuck about voting or rule of law.

In their ignorant pessimism, they think the country needs to come in for a hard landing - no flu vaccines, no health insurance,no Social Security, no right to a lawyer if arrested, no right to sue if injured, no privacy from the snoops, no jobs, no allies, no money, no security against terrorists, no energy security. They're opening the gates to the wolves now.

What are we gonna do - write a letter to the editor of The Washington Post? Pay for a full-page ad in The New York Times?

Those days are over folks - and the media is our ENEMY. We need to organize - on the INTERNET - to do something OFF the internet - such as marches, sit-ins or strikes.

Close the fuckers down - before they close you down.

2. So we don't march to impeach
We march to simply throw the bum out.

I've heard people wondering if Bush can be arrested for War Crimes next time he sets foot out of the country.

March to throw the drunken cokehead out.

14. No, and No.
A March for impeachment will accomplish nothing. Impeachment just isn't going to happen. Do you think red state senators & red state representatives are going to pay attention to a left wing march??? Ain't gonna happen.

And you can forget the dream of some country trying to arrest the POTUS on a politically motivated war crimes charge. That won't happen either.

3. This got me thinking
You wrote this: "Those days are over folks - and the media is our ENEMY. We need to organize - on the INTERNET - to do something OFF the internet - such as marches, sit-ins or strikes."

I think it would be nearly impossible to get bush impeached, but maybe we should start protesting outside tv stations and cable news shows. How could they not report it if it is right outside their door? Or is that what you meant? :)

5. I'm not sure what the best method is
Like many people, I'm frustrated.

I do see that high-tech vote fraud has probably been committed.

And I also see whores in the media
http://dailyhowler.com/dh111704.shtml
apologizing for this crime.

Corporations and the media and the DLC don't seem interested in doing anything about this mess.

Bush is being allowed to trash the Dollar, the Constitution, the Military - and now the CIA. It appears he cheated on two elections, and it looks like disaster is going to result - and the media and the corporations are still behind him.

Yes, protesting outside a TV studio would be a good start. TV studios which fail to report on VOTE FRAUD are part of the problem.

4. Stay Focused
Demand the attention of the Foreign Media.

Run "Factoid" TV Spots on independent Cable TV Stations
(gotta start raising money for media buys. Money can still get things done in the media)

More people with video cameras need to start confronting election officials and politicans.

ALL MEMBERS OF CONGRESS MUST EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO THE PAPER TRAIL.

I called my Senators and Congress people today. They seem to take phone calls a bit more seriously than email.

STRIKE! And demand an investigation into the election.

7. We need a vote of confidence from our elected Democrats.
Edited on Thu Nov-18-04 08:44 PM by lthuedk
We need a no-nonsense list of demands sent to each congressperson and senator. Those not giving a thumbs up are out at the next cycle.

Picket the Democrats first to force solidarity. Then consolidate and attack.

The days of fucking off Clintonesquely are over. This is a no compromise situation. This is war against the fascists.

8. The day is near for individual sacrifice.
So this is what it has come to...martyrdom and the first bullet taken.

Or, are we liberals all talk and bluster? These fascists stole our Democracy. What would their proper punishment be? More ambivalence and apathy?

What the fuck will YOU do about it?

9. I have begun to think that a boycott
of obviously Repuke businesses, or those that support Shrub, would be in order. Taking money away is the best spanking.

Look at the situation with Sinclair. I wrote some sponsors, and they wrote back! They were worried. Stock prices started to fall. They whined about that "small but vocal minority". But we won!

Somehow, bleeding bank accounts has to be in this equation.

13. yes march, call, email make noise don't go quietly, fight!!!
impeachment is unlikely. The corporate/evangelist cabal have control of the 2.6 branches of government, military, CIA, FBI, IRS, FDA, all with the cover by the MSmedia, and the amplification of RW hate radio. They've marginalizing our voices and the democrats are cowering in the corner.

we're in trouble.

we need to organize. maybe move-on can help organize protests, like they did house parties and GOTV efforts. the 5 million listeners of Air America radio could be mobilized. This needs to be local and national, organized. Just think if the 55 million people that voted for Kerry marched on Washington and demanded their goverment back!

15. If this election goes through
Then I have no confidence in the people running our government. If fraud is proven — and I'm willing to accept the statistical evidence as proof that at least something was wrong, then I do not recognize the authority of those whose elections have been questioned over the last 4 years.

I will march. For now, I have faith that this will not pass.

16. We need a leader, a unified focus, a unified message
Someone to harness all of this energy. An advocate. A plan of attack. That legimizes all of this. That won't paint us as (1)"delusional losers who can't accept the results" or (2) "Crazy internet nuts"

Everyone here is in agreement. We are losing our country. But somehow we are all fractured.

17. Four candidates so far...
Nader, Cobb, Badnarik, and now Kucinich. And let's not forget Bev.

Though I don't know if any of them have the clout, or been painted at (1) or (2) already.
