2. In short, he's not left-wing enough.
All we need is to run someone who's further left, and all those things go away.

Also:
We just don't get it! The republicans just don't like being talked down to.

I have now lost a hairdresser after today...one I've been going to for 20 years...one that I thought had a helluva lot more sense than I heard today. I won't grace her bowl and chair again.

Also will not employ a jack-leg plumber that we had last week. I could tell where he was going when he started talking about things that the RW spout.

I'm doing my own damn litmus test, which is: If you voted for Bush, you don't get my business.

Now, I'm boycotting! I don't need to give my hard-earned $$$ to bigoted, narrow-minded people.

4. Interesting.
You did a good job.

Last on the list is "love bush"? Ha, that's funny! So much for bush's adoring fans.

5. He's Not A Republican. Face it, guys...
...Republicans with vote blindly for Republican no matter what--as we've seen in this last rigged election!
After all Bush had done--something they'd cream a Democrat for--Republicans will be good fascists, and vote their party every, single time.
The only reason why Clinton won, was because that was PRE-Evoting, which means, as expected, should every American be allowed to vote without intimidation, loss of registration, "glitch" prone evoting machines, and corrupt Republican Secretary of States...Gore would have won in 2000; Janet Reno of Florida, and Gray Davis of California would be governor today, and we'd be talking reelection Gore for his second term.
America has been hijacked, and that means, not another Democrat will ever be voted into powerful offices of the government again-- unless the Republicans let them, or...the Democrats DO something against this election power-grab!

8. A survey I posted yesterday and compiled today
I think it's interesting. Shows what we are up against - Aside from abortion, most everything else is almost non-sensical and image-related. Proves you could talk yourself blue in the face (which most of us did) and it won't matter. Proves we have to come up with a completely different approach.

10. That was my experience.
I figured if I all I did was to inform them of the pertinent facts, they'd see reason and vote Bush out and Kerry in. This is what I thought early on anyway. Then I quickly realized that * could sacrifice a baby on television (as one wise DUer said), and it wouldn't make any difference.

12. great info!- not the order i would have expected....
where did you post this survey? what was your sample size?

the abortion issue on top is not a surprise. but surprised by the low frequency of gay marriage- i would suspect they didn't want to admit that one, but was in fact more an issue.

also surprised by response to Iraq- "liked bush's Iraq debacle'/its bush's mess let win and clean it up" attittude- that seems to acknowledge that they agree its been a disaster.
