Reward for Proof of Voting Fraud Raised to $200,000

Reward for proof of serious voting fraud raised to $200,000
http://www.bluelemur.com/index.php?p=417
A non-profit music advocacy group has raised their reward to anyone with evidence of voting fraud that could change the outcome of the presidential race to $200,000. The group, Justice Through Music http://jtmp.org/ , said “at least a $200,000 reward to any person or persons who provide conclusive and verifiable evidence that the results of the 2004 presidential election were not correctly tabulated” if it would affect the electoral outcome.

Rauf stressed that the group is hoping to increase the size of the award, so that if someone loses their job by reporting anything, they would have something to live on for a fair amount of time. “I think if we could get it up to a million, it’s a better incentive.”

He hopes the reward will give life to the movement questioning the security of the nation’s voting systems and the myriad cases of erroneous vote tabulations. Rauf called the reward “a way to get it out there without being involved in the big conspiracy theories.”

2. Good question, but that doesn't change their stipulation that
the proof of fraud change the outcome to the 2004 election.

I'm sure you already knew that and WTF are we supposed to do about it now?

4. I see it like this...
Proof of 2000 fraud, leads to proper investigation of 2004, which leads to where these folks seem to want to go.

Now if only we could get this to the Republican scum who know about it.. . Cause you know someone does. Though they'd have to be well-paid, hidden away and/or dead.

6. So if DU proves the fraud, do we divide the pot by 58593?
$200,000 divided by 58593 = $3.41 per DU member. Cool! :)

7. We'd put it in the 'kitty' and plan to buy a news station or newspaper,
something fun like that. :) THEN we'd have the start of the liberal press. lol.
Sure, we'd need more money, but it's a start. ;)

OR -- we could get a HUGE room somewhere in Wash. DC for the inauguration of President Kerry and all DU'ers could go!

:bounce:

12. If someone loses their job?
This is the kind of thing that people will lose their lives over, and probably already have. I'm glad they're offering the reward and a TRULY hope it works, but I am really freaked out by this.

13. Bigger reward essential
because if Rove's thugs threaten you and your family, how far can you go, how well can you hide with $200K? Now, if the reward were several million bucks and offered in the right media, they might me more tempted. More importantly, they might be worried that somebody else will expose the fraud, and they'd get nothing but jail time.

We can create a DFA Bat for this, but I'm trying to find out first whether it can be made to add up pledges, rather than actual credit card donations. I'd pledge more than I have in the bank to contribute to a whistleblower fund, but outright donations for something that might not yield anything... I'm burned out on that.

I'm not sure $200K is enticing enough, and if nobody comes forward, there'll be the argument, "And the anti-Bush conspiracy theorists even offered hundreds of thousands of dollars for a whistleblower, and nobody claimed it, proving there was no conspiracy!"
