Questions linger…
1) Florida: has anyone found a solid way to disprove the Dixiecrat excuse, there was an earlier thread linking seqouia machines vs registration patterns (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=104&topic_id=2619207&mesg_id=2619207) but it was kind of discredited and faded to the back.

other questions below for simplifying response tree

1. Cuyahoga remains
2) Cuyahoga county(OH): do we have any historical records besides the Blackwell elections office's line regarding the combination of districts outside of the normal range of the county 'every even year'?

2. The exit poll trail
3) We need a centralized database of exit poll records, not merely links to slate or an archived webpage we pulled down. We should organize a formal request to the Nader or other campaign to fork up the $38,000? figure and create a centralized place to study the precinct exit polling; short of that, we need authentic screenshots, and we're gonna need multiple sources to verify authenticity of our exit polling records, so they can't be discredited once we gain more momentum.

3. time to go digging
4) If we could compile a comparison between this years voting returns to 2000, preferably listing comparisons between bush’s 2004 gain (in %) increases over 2000 results, and contrast that with the democrat 'increase' that would be interesting, I found this thread on a CA county... http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=201&topic_id=3530#4276
I think there is credence that needs to be given to the suggestion that votes were hidden in places the Dem's would win hands-down in order to lessen the odds of being discovered...any other examples?

Thanks to all who respond

4. Be careful with this. One of the things I haven't seen mentioned much is
that Kerry is a Northerner, and the candidates who ran on the democrat side in presidential elections in recent history were not. Both Gore and Clinton were from the south, and therefore would have been much more acceptable candidates. There is still a huge amount of resentment of northerners in some parts of the south, and this could account for the difference in Kerry's numbers as compared to Gore or Clinton.

7. I have no idea if this tendency in FL is what accounts for the anomalies,
but it is one possible explanation, besides fraud, that might. I want to make sure to add that from what I've read, there definitely appears to be cases where some VERY peculiar things are going on, as in the situation Bev describes in Volusia with the tapes in the garbage. AND, I personally think that every effort should be made to expose those things. AND further, I still think that SOMEBODY should mount a serious legal challenge to the whole issue of voting without a paper trail.

9. Cool...thanks for all the links Eloriel
wasn't aware the compendiums were updated daily...duh I guess.

Have you seen any sort of concise top 5 or 10 list of reasons to suspect orchestrated voter fraud ...that we could take to the media/our friends/ that could ease the process of convincing instead of sending them a list of random links.
thanks
