Perhaps not Neocons, but certainly fundamentalists. The Neocons want the world to continue so that they can rule as global dictators. The fundies want to push the world into Armageddon so Jesus will return and take them away. Why protect the environment, worry about spending etc, Jesus will be back soon. The whole thing would be funny if these nut cases were not in charge.

I keep hoping that the rapture really comes and all the democrats get taken away leaving all the fundamentalists here! That irony would make me incredibly happy! :)
