Does any one know the answer to this question:
In the recount going on in NH and Ohio, are the ballots manually recounted, or just put through the machine again? It seems unlikely that fraud would be perpetrated if it could be easily discoverable by checking the paper ballots. Still, I'd feel better knowing that some suspicious precincts were being tested like this.
Frankly, what I'd really like to see is a canvass of voters in a few suspicious precincts. Take the sign in sheets so we know who voted, and just ask everyone who they voted for. You'd think the GOTV groups have the names and phone numbers, should not be an impossible task.

1. In New Hampshire, it's by hand. |

In Ohio, they're not recounting yet.
They're just counting provisional ballots for the first time. I assume it's by machine.

2. I've heard it was a manual recount in OH, |

but I'm not sure about that. This would be manual for all the counties using paper ballots, of course.
