But even if the election were overturned, they wouldn't need to own a house in DC. A house is provided, just need to fumigate the cheney out of it and find out what's in that fortified basement he's built.

So the fact that they are selling their home in DC and buying one back home doesn't reflect one way or the other on what they think about the validity of the election.

11. She mainly discussed her treatment, etc. She finished her first round of

chemo and I think then surgery, followed by radiation. She has 12 more rounds (?) Told her younger children that her hair would fall out, and they thought it was funny! She also mentioned and quoted her favorite poet ? Elizabeth Barrett Browning? A poem on Hope. It was lovely. Sorry, my computer was turned off right after I posted this!

24. They Talked

about the death of their son Wade and how she got through that and how it was like falling down a hole.

She said finding out she had breast cancer was a similar feeling. She talked about her illness with each of her children and tried to explain to Jack and Emma Clair how she might be sick and would be losing her hair. The kids thought that would be funny.

She said she would probably shave her head when it starts falling out so she wouldn't look scraggly and scare them. They laughed a bit and Elizabeth said she would look like Kojack.

She said she never questioned going public with her cancer because she hoped her story would help someone else. She hadn't had a mammogram in 4 years. She said she has received letters from all over and one from women thanking her. She had heard her story and did a breast check that made her go see her doctor who confirmed a lump. She said Elizabeth probably saved her life.

Let's see what else...she said she was a fighter and came from good Italian stock, also she told her doctor she needed 40 more years because she had things to do. She got a bit teary as she was saying that and it made me wonder if her cancer was worse than she's letting on.

Very good interview. Hope this fills in for everyone.

That makes me tear up. I sent her a little teddy bear with a heart box that he was holding onto. Inside, was a candle. I wrote, "This is a single flame of hope from my husband and me." The card said to get well soon so she could come out and PLAY, and I added--"come out and play in DU" (hey, she did once before).

Hmm.... Maybe because she was diagnosed with the cancer. But it's still kinda bizarre that Kerry has gone AWOL, except for a short interview with a local TV station in MASS. and his e-mail with video to all of us.
