"In a letter we received on Friday, the Secretary of State of New Hampshire has required us to provide $12,000 by this Wednesday to continue the next phase of the recount effort. We plan to send the requested funds in the next day. The next phase of our recount in New Hampshire will begin on November 29 and should take two days to complete. We will report the outcome to you early next week."

Well, at least the money isn't going to be worth much once the dollar dives, so I might as well use it up now while it still has value.

3. I'm looking for a recount-specific contribution link and cannot find it

How does one know where one's money is going? My funds are very limited and I want any contribution to be specifically to the recount effort, but Ohio needs more money, too.

4. Can't help you with the Nader link, but

there are several possibilities.

To contribute directly to the recounts, you can contribute to the individual candidates' campaigns (be sure to mark it FOR RECOUNT so it doesn't go to help settle any campaign debts, etc.),

OR you can also contribute to Help America Recount, the 527 set up by DUer hedda_foil (and IdaBriggs, I think was involved), the two DUers who got this whole recount ball rolling in the first place. Hedda is co-founder also of the National Ballot Integrity Project. The two links are below:
