EMAIL OHIO'S "FRIVOLOUS" CUNNINGHAM!
I just received this from a dear friend of mine who posts on AOL Message Boards along with me. Thank you Fly!

commissioners@allencountyohio.com

PLEASE PASS THIS AROUND..LETS GET THOUSANDS OF EMAILS SENT TO THIS GUY!!
THIS WAS FROM A COMMISSIONER OF ELECTIONS IN OHIO..AND I FIND IT REPULSIVE AS DO MANY ON THE WEB SITES...THIS IS WHAT HE SAYS AND THIS
IS MY LETTER TO THIS COMMISSIONER..MAY I SUGGEST OTHERS PLEASE WRITE THIS MAN AND TELL HIM WHAT YOUR VOTE MEANS , AND THAT HE HAS NO RIGHT TO DENEGRATE THE VOTES OF AMERICAN FOR A FAIR AND JUST ELECTION!!

Keith Cunningham, director of the Allen County Board of Elections and incoming president of the Ohio Association of Election Officials, called the lawsuit "frivolous," adding that he might mobilize counties to resist a recount.

"Commissioners are beginning to understand - and if they don't, will understand soon - what kind of financial impact this is going to have on them, in a year when elections already cost a great deal more than expected," said Cunningham, a Republican.

The two former third-party candidates have said they raised more than $150,000 to cover the state's fee for a recount. Ohio law requires payment of $10 per precinct, or $113,600 statewide, but election officials say the true expense would be far greater.

LoParo has estimated the actual cost at $1.5 million.

Dear Keith Cunningham,

I am a citizen of the U.S.A. My father, grand father , 2 brothers , and husband , all fought in the uniform of this nation . My grandfather was on the U.S.S. arizona in ww1, and left his eye on it as a gunner. My father fought in the South Pacific, and died young as a result of malaria and getting Rhumatic fever in the jungles of the South Pacific, after being left on an island by Mac Arthur , left for dead for over 6 months. They all fought for our vote. It did not occur to them that our vote was "FRIVOLOUS", IT DID NOT OCCUR TO MY BROTHERS AND HUSBAND THAT FIGHTING FOR THEIR LIVES IN VIETNAM , THAT THEIR VOTE WAS FRIVOLOUS!!!!!!!

How dare you ?? How dare you even intimate that the votes or recounting our votes, to know if glitches occurred or even if the votes are correct , or fraud has taken place, is frivolus!!!!!!! Was it frivolous when my brothers were knee deep in jungle with leaches all over their bodies??

Was it frivolus when my husband returned from Nam , and didnt sleep for years??

Was it frivolus for you when my next door neighbor and my brothers best friend came home from Nam with 2 legs and an arm missing???
I am fucking sick of people like you!!..Maybe you ought to give up your vote!! Yes you give up yours , you are not worthy of a vote in this nation of laws and democracy!!
My words to you , i will parce...you can go striaght to hell bubba!!

And when you discuss the money??!! 1.5 million to recount our votes, well sir may i remind you we are at present spending over 5 Billion dollars a MONTH in iraq on a war of lies..yes a war of lies.
I am a just retired flight attendant for one of the airlines that was involved in 9/11 and i can assure you if you are too dumb to know the truth by now..Saddam had nothing to do with killing my 47 co-workers..NOTHING!! THERE WERE NO WMD, THERE WAS NO IMMINENT THREAT FROM IRAQ!

In conclusion...shut your mouth and count the votes, its your job and your obligation...how dare you call american votes frivolous!!!!!!!!!!!!
How dare you spit on my democracy!!! How dare you frivolize the votes of americans , while we have our kids dying for a lies of a war, and over 100,000 Iraqi's citizens dying for a vote!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you make me sick!

from a concerned PROUD AMERICAN VOTER!

1. I sent mine as well...
I also mentioned how 1.5 million is chump change in the grand scheme of things and that he is trying to exaggerate the severity of that number...

7. LOL! For the "Good Ol' Boy"
Seriously... $2 Million Dollars worth of yacht.

How much food could that feed how many families for, and for how long? They just came out with a stat. In NYC, the amount of hungry people, including families, rose 9% this year. 60,000 have had to be turned away this year from soup kitchens.

But King George needs a new place to do photo-ops...

3. done . I also included the following Ohio dem email so others see as well.
dan@ohiodems.org

This is listed at the Ohio Dem Party site. on the home page

How is this?

Keith Cunningham,

A 135% increase in overall votes in Allen County, tells most concerned about legal and fair elections why you might want to go to court to stop a legal recount. CYA is a standard practice by Republicans in this election. GOTV by republicans in Florida Ohio and possibly other states is an acronym for stuff the ballot box. So we can see why you would want to stop a recount.

Jan Claire seems to use the same talking point sheet as you! Can’t afford it? Don’t pretend ‘to GOTV’ and disenfranchise hundreds of American citizens of citizens of their legal rights!!!

4. Here is mine
To: Keith Cunningham, director of the Allen County Board of Elections

How dare you question our right to recount the vote! There is nothing "FRIVOLOUS" about ensuring the machinery our democracy is in working order! There were many, many, many reports taken from the state of Ohio's official election results web page to suggest wide spread break down of the election system in your state which could possibly be interpreted to be the result of widespread FRAUD! If you believe in these here United States then you would be welcoming the chance to show that your election was indeed fair and not a massive theft of We The Peoples rights to VOTE! As a twenty year retired Vet of the US Army who's Father served this country in WWII and with a Son on his second tour of duty in Iraq. Are you telling me we layed our lives on the line to protect and ensure our basic freedoms and the right to chose our representation the American way through fair elections where every vote is counted truthfully was a LIE! And of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, was it in vain for you to fight the recount! I take great disgust in your words to fight the recount after all what is it that YOU HAVE TO HIDE?

"The people that cast the votes decide nothing those, who count the votes decide every thing!" Joseph Stalin

6. Excellent email! Thank You All!
Here is mine, short and to the point.

Dear Mr. Cunningham,

I am appalled at your calling the legal right of recount, "frivolous". It totally demeans our rights to fair elections.

People have shed their blood so we could have that inalienable right, and every vote Has to count!!!

Although I am not a resident of Ohio, and thank goodness of New York, where I know my vote did count, even one disenfranchised voter is one too many. It erodes the beauty and strength of We The People. Our glorious Constitution has been besmirched!

I suggest the next time you reach for words, you apply more thought into what being an American means, before you respond.

8. very impassioned, (I hope you hit "spellcheck")
Here is the text of mine:

I am an American. My Mother's family came over on the Mayflower, and my Father's family met the boat. I grew up in Lexington, where the first battle for our independence was fought. I take the Constitution very, very seriously and hold sacred our right to vote, and to have our vote duly counted. The very essence of a Democracy is inherent in this one, defining act.

Do YOU want to live in a Dictatorship? This Dear Country is in danger of becoming the very thing that the "Greatest Generation" fought so hard to defeat, and lawsuits to safeguard our right to vote can never, NEVER, be considered "frivolous".

10. Information on Keith Cunningham
I have dug up some info on Keith Cunningham. He is a Blackwell lap dog and has been for years. He suppported the move to all electronic voting in 2001 and advocated getting rid of punch card ballots for the state.

See my posts on Mr. Cunningham at

Let's shut this loser up.
