5. Yes. Down the street. Cops seem amused. Many of the protestors are
women. They are all orderly. I forgot the guy's name but they have his name on signs and they want him instead of the Russian puppet. The singing sounded beautiful. Singing in another language always sounds nice.

6. We are hypocrites and cowards compared to the Ukrainians!!!
http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/200411/s1250030.htm

"Western observers have said that Sunday's election, which preliminary results say Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich won, fell far short of international standards and the United States warned of punitive measures if the Ukraine Government failed to investigate allegations of vote rigging." (YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING!!!!)

"More than 100,000 supporters of liberal, West-leaning candidate Viktor Yushchenko poured into the streets of Kiev on Monday after the result became clear and the charges of vote count fraud mounted." (Gee, why don't the Americans have the courage of the Ukrainians???)

7. We do, but now is not the time for protests and violence
We don't want to be hasty in this. We have more at stake than the Ukrainian people. We have to be right. If we get this wrong, it puts our troops in a very precarious position. I know they are in a very shitty position as it is but imagine if the streets of New York were filled with hundreds and thousands of protestors. This would be an invitation for the more people to fund and aid the insurgency. I hate the fact that we are there but our boys are there and I don't want us to get this wrong. We need absolute 100% proof and then we can take to the streets. And believe me, we will. You seen how many people marched at the RNC nomination ceremony. This will be a drop in the bucket. The steps for this have already been taken but we need to hold off until the time is right.

If this fraud is exposed and Kerry wins, this will happen real fast. REAL FAST. Kerry loves this this country and loves the soldiers, he isn't going to put them in harms way for politics. He is waiting for the right time to strike and it has to be a complete victory. We are not ready but do not doubt our courage or our commitment to freedom.

Sincerely,
Michael Lewis
