The reasons why people make mistakes |
|
I'm bringing this into the open.
First it all goes to the fact that we have a secret government about everything. Then it goes to election fraud being covered up as conspiracy theories.
Then it goes to so much information coming out. Look at how Iraq was not being covered properly. Look at how they demoralized Democrats after the election on TV.
The things I blame is people being on the edge, people not trusting news media, and the government being secretive about everything. We live in a time were it is difficult to trust anything. It isn't the fault of posters, but the fact that we don't trust anything.

1. After reading countless posts concering your supposed agenda |

I have to admit, it was quite easy to doubt your sincerity on this forum. And as far as not trusting anyone these days because of this new adminstration's blantant In Your Face tactics, my distrust of the humaninzed need to feel superior was begun quite some time ago..
At least your gutsy, I give you credit for not diving under the nearest rock to avoid the flame thrower...

2. well what worries me is this can be applied to any subject |

I'm more worried that right now we are at a stage were figuring out how to handle cases like this are important. Yes I have become a target, but wasn't Kerry also a target by right-wingers during this election?
I don't care what happens to me. I'm just one person. I know I made a mistake and I admitted that I made a mistake. When the flame throwing first happen I took a step back. I listened and tried to find a peaceful solution. I still am trying to find a solution because I believe this isn't just short term. The way we reflect and handle this problem of CyberNet is the way we will handle and reflect on any other topic that comes close to it.
I never blamed George as well if they are trying to be honest. They felt passionated that we were being mislead. They felt protecting the forum by not wasting time was the way to go. However, their is always two sides to everything.
If I left that doesn't mean it solves the problems. What happens when another issue like this accrues and another poster is in the same position I was? I think it is important to think how we handle it on any topic. The way we respond now will effect what Democratic Underground becomes. I'm just one poster and I can not change anything. It has to be a peaceful solution by all members.
