Just think of people, after all, that is all we really have in a political party.

Kerry - would be killed by the GOP if he was fighting for fraud

MM - would kill the cause because he is seen as a partisan hack by many, including Dems

JJ - has been fighting against voter suppression for years and has credibility, but is not seen as a hack. he, by speaking now can help with minimal damage to both him and the democratic party

Glibs - attacking them would be like hitting a man with glasses and then shooting him in the back, so instead they get ridiculed but still get the job done (while actually gaining support)

7. What about Carl Bernstein?

Carl has always been a maverick and really put his balls out to get Nixon on Watergate. Woodward seems to have gone soft but I think he always kinda was.

Carl Bernstein has nothing to lose from investigating this. Hell, it's what he's good at. After what he has done for the country, I can't imagine anyone dismissing him too easily.
