....after I post I notice that the threads veers off into tangents I either didn't consider or that show my original post was somehow unclear.At that point,to follow ettiquette should I take what I get,clearify what I am asking,or allow the thread to die...could use some posters with large counts to point me straight...

if there is a tangent between a couple folks and your thread is no longer the topic just ignore it
