Jeff Fisher is asking for our help |
|
Sen. Bill Nelson's, Sen. Bob Graham's, Congressman Robert Menendez's and the DCCC office (regarding Robert Matsui) showed great interest in Election Fraud and the possibility of a national revote . The only office that we had difficulty with was Sen. Max Baucus's Deputy Chief of Staff, Deva Kemmis Hicks.
Ms. Kemmis Hicks tried to pass my personal phone call off by saying that I needed to write a letter. I am asking everyone to email her at deva_kemmishicks@baucus.senate.gov , call her at (202) 224-2651 and fax her at (202) 224-4700. For the hearing impaired the TTY number is (202) 224-1998.
Please inform Ms. Kemmis Hicks the importance of having Sen. Baucus joining with the people to fight for the Constitution. The senator swore to protect, defend and honor the Constitution. It's time to fulfill that oath.

Let's do what we can with this- a few hundred (!!) passionate letters from the DU can make a difference! Remind them that Our Democracy Depends on this!

15. There's no legal authority for such a thing and it's required. |

A mere detail to Fisher perhaps but as far as I'm aware, based on actually reading the Constitution and Federal law governing the presidential election, there is no Constitutional or legal mechanism or authority to enable such a national revote to occur. If Fisher is aware of that, he gives no sign while he encourages people to email representatives to urge a national revote.
As much as it seems that Congress continually pulls stuff out of its ass, it can't just say, nor will it, "we declare a national revote" and that'll make it happen. Even if it weren't a lame duck session. Even if it weren't a Republican dominated Congress. Amend Federal law and perhaps the Constitution as well and then it could be done for the Presidential election.
State/local elections are under local jurisdiction, not Federal. So for the kind of national revote Fisher envisions, be prepared to contact your state governors, legislators and city/county governments too.

17. I don't know if I approve of this method. |

Fisher still scores low on the credibility scale with me. Not that I don't think he is wrong in decalring a revote, but he comes off as a loony. If there is enough evidence of fraud, have an FBI director back up his claims. Before that happens, I'm going to try and get a revote in Ohio based on suppression alone. It is the only verifiable case we have that could withstand cross-examination in a court of law.

23. Furthermore, this creates an unneeded dilema for Democrats |
|
Putting pressure on Senators to back the vote fraud case forces a situation where they either back fraud investigations (and commit political suicide if they are wrong) or ignore voters' requests.
There IS one thing that will get Senators to sign on to an investigation, though. That one thing will Fisher producing evidence, instead of just hyperbolic conjecture.

Seems to me after studying Fisher and talking to some friends in Florida that the guy is somewhat mentally unstable. A loon if you will, and while not a raving lunatic, he is hardly credible in my book. Senator Bob Graham is a smart man, I've met him, and I am thoroughly convinced that he'd not back up this idea. I'd encourage others to heavily consider the rationale behind doing this, and I'd encourage a phone call to the good Senators office before shooting off a potentially embarrassing email. Our energies should be placed into Ohio, New Mexico, and Nevada -- not on counterproductive efforts like this. That's just my humble opinion, and I don't want to offend anyone by giving it. If I have, I hope people can understand the reasoning behind my statement.
Thanks.
