Hey now, leave Olbermann alone!
He was THE ONLY MSM REPORTER gutsy enough to care about the fraud.

He was talking with a WSJ reporter, people!

In the tread about Olbermann, I notice 2 or 3 individuald with rather low post count feeding the flames with defeatist comments, be aware of that fact.

As the Nazi/bigot/pig Limbaugh would say "grow some spine..."

That's why they think the possibility of a one party regime is about to become reality...they are sure they are dealing with a bunch of "weasels."

Just my opinion.

1. Well said, Raul.
How does that saying go..."Get your balls out of your purse"?

Assuming you are of the correct chromosomal makeup to possess such things. ;-)

3. He talked to a reporter whoring for the election officals
Edited on Wed Dec-01-04 09:18 PM by Ducks In A Row
sorry, but olbermann could have been tough on the lack of reporting, but instead put down someone who have been sweating blood to get to the bottom of this crap.

If not for Bev, the fact that original polling tapes are in a garbage bag about to be shredded, would never been found out.

Did Olbermann care enough to ask the whore reporter why he wasn't interested in the crap the election officals have been pulling in florida?

sorry, but it was a piss-poor show today.

4. Maybe...
Just maybe, is an "ego" thing.

Look, Harris has a taste for "drama", we all know that and Olbermann just doesn't want to share the stage with anybody!

He does have a reputation for it.

6. That's nuts
Being passionate about the cause is great. But being blinded by your passion doesn't help anything. Bev only really appeals to the extreme 1%. And that's not going to get this anywhere. It needs to gain traction with mainstream Dems. And Keith did more to help that tonight by dissing Bev than he would have by endorsing her antics.

Bev put on a media stunt. She may think it was necessary to draw attention to the cause. But it wasn't the right kind of attention. For this to get anywhere, it needs to sound serious, mature and plausible, if not downright lawyerly.

5. I totally agree
He's helped us far more than hurt us.
Yes, tonight was not the best show,
but let's give him more time....He has been our ONLY friend in MSM so far...and we could use a friend there.

9. He's also being fair and balanced
He's discussing it daily with a cornicopia of characters on all sides.

This is what reporting used to be about. We don't want Keith to bend over backwards to the Dem side. That would make him just as ludicrious as the Faux "news" staff.

I say again, Watergate took months to uncover. A careful plod by Keith is a plod in the right direction.

will all be remembered if we successfully save our Democracy. Our decendants will be talking about it - it will be in the history books. I'm not kidding. IMO

17. I agree. He has been doing his job, and giving more attention to the vote
problems than anyone else. For that, people here on DU should be deeply grateful, imho. He has never said that he supports the fraud claims, just that they should get coverage and attention. And he has been courageous in his coverage of the story.

Also, does everyone know that now there is now a new anti-Olbermann website, "Olbermann Watch, reality-based news for the belligerantly (sic) uninformed"? I understand that it is being promoted over on Free Republic. It is here: http://www.olbermannwatch.com/

He is taking a lot of shots because he has been willing to air this story, so I think people should back off.

19. Can we agree on Bev Harris?
She started with this, OK, and I gave her site some money to help with the effort, but then she said many things about "important info", etc. and up to this point, she did not come through, right?

Olbermann has clarified his position on this topic, end of the problem, I think.

If Harris has something to say, let her say it. She is not looking credible and her behaviour is way too "dramatic", maybe more fit for a Hollywood career.

If she wants to gain "media time" let's ask her to do it in a more intelligent manner.

If those guys have videos or documents to show to Olbermann or anybody else, this is the time!
