1. I love 20/20 and the Quick
This is a very cool thread.

I have good friends who were in a band called the Droogs. They started in the early '70s by doing '60s garage-rock covers, like "He's Waiting" by the Sonics, and "Light Bulb Blues" by the Shadows of Knight. They played with most or all of these bands.

Again - cool thread.

13. One of my favorites.
The MTV video for this song from 1982 was the first "film noir" that I ever saw.

http://www.lyricsxp.com/lyrics/o/only_the_lonely_the_motels.html

Only The Lonely

The Motels

We walked the loneliest mile
We smiled without any style
We kissed altogether wrong
No intention

We lied about each other's drinks
We lived without each other thinkin'
What anyone would do
Without me and you

It's like I told you
Only the lonely can play

So hold on
Here we go
Hold on
To nothing we know
I feel so lonely
Way up here

You mention the time we were together
So long ago well I don't remember
All I know is it makes me feel good now

Only the lonely
Only the lonely can play

Only the lonely
Only the lonely can play

Only the lonely
Only the lonely can play
