Michael Jackson: Dancing The Dream
Edited on Sun Jul-12-09 04:13 PM by ezgoingrl
DANCING THE DREAM

Consciousness expresses itself through creation. This world we live in is the dance of the creator. Dancers come and go in the twinkling of an eye but the dance lives on. On many an occasion when I'm dancing,I've felt touched by something sacred. In those moments, I've felt my spirit soar and become one with everything that exists. I become the stars and the moon. I become the lover end the beloved. I become the victor and the vanquished. I become the master and the slave. I become the singer and the song. I become the knower and the known.I keep on dancing and then, it is the eternal dance of creation. The creator and creation merge until one wholeness of joy.
I keep on dancing and dancing... and dancing, until there is only... the dance.

This is a playlist from YouTube with poems, essays, and short stories that were published in Michael Jackson's book: Dancing The Dream in 1992. The writings are in the description of each video, just click on the "more info" link. If you've never read any of Michael Jackson's stuff you're in for a treat, and if you have read it, read it again. It'll make your day.

Edit to add: I didn't watch or listen to all of the videos, but as far as I can tell most of the music that accompanies the videos isn't Michael Jackson's music, only the readings in the description are.

1. Thank you for this. They should put the book back into print
They're selling on Amazon for $500 - $600! Ouch!
