Haven't heard anything about Susan Boyle lately.....
Does anyone know how things are turning out for her these days?

Beautiful voice 'that one'.

I hope it's going well for her.....looking forward to hearing her voice again. :-)

2. Rumor has it - it was in the Times of London - that she'll sing the national anthem
Edited on Thu Jul-16-09 07:38 AM by Captain Hilts
at the big cricket match in England next week. Don't know if that's true.

Some player whose wife is a singer tried to get her to sing it and was told, he named the source, that Boyle was going to sing it.

She's doing fine.

It's interesting how the Guardian, Daily Mail and London Times, among others actually printed columns apologizing for the way Boyle was treated in the press. The Guardian defended her right to say 'fuck' and to tell those tabloid reporters who got into her hotel and hassled her to 'fuck off'. Both Cowell and the head of ITV admitted they failed to protect her.

An article in the San Francisco examiner pointed out that she went through in two months what the Beatles did in two years. Only without other Beatles for comfort or Brian Epstein's guidance.

Ends up not only did she almost break the servers for two Scottish newspapers. The 20 million hits in one night on the Cry Me A River vid on Youtube created chaos with their server. That's why the head of Google, that owns Youtube, flew to London to talk to the head of ITV.
