Who else is loving Lost?
I wonder what's going to happen next week? Seems like there's someone else on the island. ??

2. lovin' it - almost didn't watch it, didn't care for first episode |
|
but glad i stayed with it. My only question is - what happened to the giant flesh-eating monster that terrorized the survivors during the first couple of episodes?

26. Locke (Terry O'Quinn) stared it down in about the third episode |
|
And it hasn't made an appearance since.
Since then, there's been a lot of speculation about the monster...and about Locke.

5. I'm so into Lost that I now |
|
TIVO it to be sure I don't miss a minute. They've extended the broadcast to 8:02 CST. So, now I have to turn it off to watch West Wing. My favorite characters are the bald guy, the Iraqi and the drug addict - sorry - I can't think of their names. I did not like the first episode because it looked like it was going to be a "horror" show with monsters as the main event. I love the way the are developing the characters via flashbacks.

7. It's one of my very few Do Not Miss! shows. |
|
I love it. I hope they don't have some ridiculous conclusion or lack thereof as in Twin Peaks. The best thing about the show is not knowing what the heck is going on. That's what Twin Peaks was like until we found out David Lynch was wingin'it every week and didn't have any idea of where he planned for the show to go. Great idea on Lost to have a backstory on each "survivor" every week. With each new episode I think how nice it is to have something actually creative happening in the television industry. The cable channels are getting much better also, but that's another thread.
Yep. This is the best new show on Network TV.

"I hope they don't have some ridiculous conclusion or lack thereof as in Twin Peaks." Or X files
My favorite episode so far has been the one on Dr. Jack. I love it when you can't figure out whats going to happen next all the time. so many other shows are so predictable. I just really want to know what that thing is out in the jungle. and why Locke hasn't said what he saw when he was hunting.

It's like crack on my tv.
Between Lost and Desperate Housewives I can't believe I'm watching ABC again. I haven't watched them in years and now they've got two of the best shows on tv this season. Who'd have thunk it?

11. Any theories as to what the heck's going on-- how do we do Spoilers |
|
I'm pretty sure what the "mystery" is-- having talked w/ folks and read some others' theories-- don't wish to blow it for folks--so will keep mum.
One suggestion-- watch very closely what goes on-- what people say and what takes place (I know, I know-- no shit sherlock-- but really pay attention)
I'm just so happy Mera Furlan (sp?) will be on next week-- Bab5 alum-- hurray!

Lost & Desperate Housewives are the only new shows that I watch and about the only ones that aren't 'reality' (like Survivor, Amazing Race etc.) based. I didn't care too much for the first episode either because I was afraid it was going to be Sci Fi which I am not into but I stuck with it and now I am totally hooked.:D

18. I love this show! I will admit I only started watching because a hobbit |
|
was in it! Dominic Monaghan who plays Charlie on the show was Merry in Lord of the Rings, so that was a huge plus my book, but I really do love this show I love Jack and Sayid, they're both so cool.
I'm really sad though, I saw Evangeline Lilly (Kate) interviewed on David Letterman, and she said that one of the main characters is going to die by the end of the season and my brother keeps saying its going to be Sayid! Damn my brother, he's probably right!:cry::cry:

27. Did anybody see the Josh Holloway (Sawyer) interview... |
|
on Jimmy Kimmell Live on Friday night?
Very cool guy (Josh, that is--never have cared much for Jimmy), and he seems very down-to-earth. He laughs about how people react to him on the street.
