Is there any part of their humanity people won't sell to be on TV? |
|
TV sez: "We have lots of money! Come on and prostitute yourselves, people!"
People sez: "OK, where do I put my dignity? I have to eat what? I have to wear what? I have to act how?"
Is there any end to the level of prostitution/degradation that reality shows will not sink to? If not for the puritanical/hypocritical FCC, how long would it be before we were watching people perform degrading sexual acts for money on TV?
Eating bugs, or whatever else they do on Fear Factor, is not that far from that.

the networks were so excited about reality shows, though. No expensive divas, far fewer writers, lower production costs . . . I smell profit!

2. What percent of the watchers of these shows do you think voted for Bush? |
|
They sit at home watching some fools selling out for money and feel morally superior. They don't even have the knowledge that by watching this shit they perpetuate it. Maybe that's what they like about Bush. He's the ultimate corporate whore.
