Granted its a BBC show, but they run it on Saturday nights, followed by 'As Time Goes By', I never miss those 2 shows...

plus I envy the gents' indolent lifestyle: eat, drink, gamble, shoot pistols, ride horses, have women fighting over you...
It's a pig's life, but I'd take it.

But why is it a guilty pleasure? I think these PBS historical re-enactment shows have considerable educational value.
