My apologies for a broad brush smear |
|
At the time I posted it it didn't seem so bad. But Skinner was right it was a smear and totally unfair to all the atheist here.

5. I am an atheist, and I enjoy broad-brush smears regardless |
|
of who they are directed at.
The last book I read was Dawkins' "The God Delusion" - I laughed out loud.
Now I'm reading the 4th century Church Father Epiphanius' extremely harsh herisology "Panarion - The Medicine Chest Against All Heresies" and it's a hoot! He's more fun than Irenaeus and Tertullian, and those guys are a riot.
Caustic polemics are just way more entertaining than dry, Politically Correct descriptive discourse.

But thanks for the apology nonetheless.
As the others have said, we're all used to it around here though. :-)

8. Yes. Us athheists (agnostic here really but might as well say atheist) |
|
love to engage in discourse, not like the people who are sure they have the ultimate answer to the universe. We enjoy it, so perhaps different rules ought to apply with respect to us. We can take it. And I suspect it's because we really have no "holy relics" from which to get our feelings hurt when people insult "holy relics".
