Cardnial Newman Society & Heritiage Foundation team up for education forum |
Yep, the self appointed lay enforcers, the Cardnial Newman Society will be holding a presentation next Friday, April 18 2-3:30pm at the conservative Heritage Foundation about academic freedom in Catholic Higher Education. This means how to accept a crackdown of ideas that do not mirror Rome 100%. :( http://www.cardinalnewmansociety.org/Home/tabid/36/ctl/Details/mid/435/ItemID/116/Default.aspxhttp://www.heritage.org/press/events/ev041808b.cfm

2. As opposed to the seminar I went to on Wednesday |
at a community of nuns which was about voting for "the common good" as opposed to voting for one issue. It was truly amazing. Most of these nuns are over 60, and as we discussed where to get good information about candidates, one of these nuns mentioned Amy Goodman and air america radio, and streaming over the internet. I am so glad for these women!
