It seems after decades of the plastic, self congratulatory sanctimony on the right a few of them are actually reading the book they've been using to flog the rest of us.
Maybe we're about to have a real awakening instead of the megachurch showbiz, bribe your way out of hell pseudo Christianity embraced so completely by the too comfortable and the people who want to join them.
Let's hope they recognize the error of the war against the feminine, too.
I'm sure David Kuo will welcome the company, anyway.

some of them were conservative when that was popular, but are seeing the shift and are aiming for the current market flavor.

Anyone who is the least bit perceptive can sense a tide-change. I don't trust those people. The amount of damage his "religious right" has done to this country cannot be undone with an apology and an "I've seen the light" statement. This has set off the BS detector.

I've seen him on C-Span basically calling out the chichenhawks running our country who haven't done their share of carrying the water like middle and lower income people always have. In that sense he's at least a bit of a populist.
He's not a huckster and not just trying to make lots of bucks with a book. He's the one with a BS decector and his has been tuned into the BS generated by the marriage of RW religion & RW politics in the U.S.

He got wise before the national consequences of Showbiz Christianity got too ugly to ignore.

9. He's an interesting guy. |

He grew up in a conservative church and was really into it, only to convert to Eastern Orthodox Christianity later in life and renounce everything he did before that. He's been fairly liberal for awhile, but I do enjoy his work. :)
