I though The author does an excellent job falsifying the notion promulgated by Fundies and New Agers that Atheism and a Naturalistic metaphysics is amoral and nihilistic and that us Atheists have no sense of wonder about the universe.

1. The translator, Nancy Huston, is someone I know.

She's a cousin of my oldest friend John and the niece of my godmother Jane. Jane Huston is quite religious (Anglican), but her theology is quite left-wing. She gives Christians a good name, and I say this as a backsliding agnostic/atheist.

Nancy is nice as well, but my goodness, she smokes way more than I do, and I thought I was bad...
