All belief, regardless of source, is dangerous if unquestioningly given.
Those who do unspeakable things in the name of Faith, would find other reasons to strap on a bomb belt, shoot unarmed bystanders, or put entire towns to the sword. As human beings, we find it easier to kill for abstract ideas that allow us to dehumanize our enemies. They are infidels, sub-humans, Fascists, Bolsheviks, One-eyed, One-horned Flying Purple People Eaters, etc. To justify this dehumanization we use religion, or we use political ideology, or we use pseudo-scientific arguments, such as eugenics, or some combination of the three. Religion kills. Politics kills. Belief in general, when no thought is put into it, kills.

4. Read your "Subject" & thought it was about political candidates. LOL when it was Religion/Theology.

5. Meh, it works for political candidates too.
Many have chosen to be cruel, irrational and downright foolish in their following of a politician, who has been characterized as unable to do wrong. (There have been examples of this in the followers of all candidates in the past year, I single no group out in particular.)

The bloodletting in GD-P earlier this year was one example of the problems of uncritical belief. Others can easily be found in the dungeon.
