Now that the Republicans have upped the level of religiosity in our Government

are there any previous Bush supporters here in DU who are apt to return to the dark Mcsame side?

1. Not on DU, but...

Four years ago my local party organization was inundated by Mc Same supporters who felt disenfranchised by the way Bush treated Mc Same in 2000.

They pompously demanded to be given positions of responsibility and authority because they knew how to run our party better than we did. Of course, they were indignant when the noobies were rebuffed in favor of long-standing Democrats.

Needless to say, they are nowhere to be seen this year. And I think we are all pretty satisfied with that outcome.
