Braintree man charged with causing disturbance
BRAINTREE —
Brian P. Donovan, 49, of Braintree was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Deputy Police Chief Russell Jenkins said the incident happened Sunday afternoon during an outdoor festival at the Vietnamese Buddhist Center, 155 Quincy Ave.

A short time later, “Donovan allegedly went to his SUV parked in his driveway and continuously leaned on the horn and deliberately activated his car alarm,” Jenkins said.

When the music stopped and the festivalgoers entered the temple, Donovan stopped making noise, police said. When the group came back outside and the music resumed, Jenkins said, Donovan resumed blowing his horn and activating his car alarm.
“Officer Cohoon spoke to Donovan on more than one occasion, but he would quickly resume his disruptive actions,” Jenkins said.
