Is pro-life pro-war and is that not pro-death which is anti-life?
Then pro-choice gives you the option of being pro-life and pro-war but then that means you are pro-choice ... What a conundrum! What will your pResident say?

1. It all has to do with sex, really
Sex, which they can't have/enjoy like normal people do. So they hate everyone else who does.

They want to protect the fetus, but they don't have a problem incinerating toddlers in Baghdad. What scum!

3.  It all has to do with Freedom, really!
In the name of Freedom fetus' (as long as they are American) must be protected from those anti-American Freedom hating Iraqies... One of our fetus' may grow up and become cannon fodder on foreign shores but we do not want those anti-American Freedom haters (also non-taxpaying) terrorists to be airplane pilots on our shores. And we have the Fetus' to ensure that Freedom!

5. Advocates of compulsory pregnancy are pro-death penalty, anti-life support
The advocates of compulsory pregnancy are typically in favor of the death penalty - they have even been known to murder abortion doctors and believe they are doing "God's work".

Further, they are anti-life support/sustain benefits such as welfare programs. Welfare was intended for children. AFDC is "Aid for Families with Dependent Children". WIC is "Women with Indigent Children". All the programs that would care for those fetuses that they are so obsessed with bringing to term are opposed by the Religious Reich.

6. Pro-lifers who support this (or any) war justify it by

the fact that the people our side kills in a war are enemies of our country, who would kill us if they had the chance, a description which does not apply to unborn babies.

But surely you knew that? And surely you know that some pro-lifers oppose this war.

8. Surely you know most pro-lifers are pro-war. In the name of Freedom
pregnant women and their unborn fetus' perish when those pro-life In God We Trust bunker busters blow up a neighborhood festival.(surely you knew that)But this is a war (unjustified war but a war none the less, surely you knew that) and those pregnant mothers and their unborn fetus' were a threat to America our freedoms and way of life... if those pregnant women and unborn fetus' had a chance to kill us, they would because they are at war with us. But surely you knew that.

9. Catholics like me who looked to John Paul II
had no difficulty in being pro-life, anti- death penalty, and pro-peace. There are also plenty of mainline Protestants in the more liberal denominations who believe the same - e.g. most Episcopalians, some Lutherans and Presbyterians, and of course the Quakers and Mennonites.

12. Arianna Huffington said...
the AIDS epidemic in Africa is a direct result of the late Pope's stand on condom use.

I'll have to agree with her on that.
