A Prayer for KARL ROVE from the Psalms. |
|
Here is my Prayer for Karl Rove, quoted verbatum from The Holy Bible, Psalm 109:6-20
***
6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand. 7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin. 8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office. 9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow. 10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places. 11 Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour. 12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children. 13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out. 14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out. 15 Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Let me hear a loud "AMEN"
The Bible really does have something for every occasion!

1. No pardon here, not... |
|
I can't understand what kind of God wants to punish his children...
and why should his parents be punished ?
this kind of crap is produced by people like Rove, they existed 2000 years agao and before...
Modern man should discard all this as garbage
Obviously the Rovian bibles have still a public...

3. Yes, that passage casts doubt on the inerrancy of the Bible, and conveys |
|
my sentiments about Rove. That was the idea. More than a little sarcasm going on there.

4. You know, the psalms were written by men. |
|
If you accept tradition, by David, who was a soldier. A little bloodthirst and anger might be expected, you know?
FWIW, I'm a Christian.

ZEPHANIAH 1:12-17
12. At that time I will search through Jerusalem with lamps. I will punish the people who are entrenched in their sin those who think to themselves, ‘The Lord neither rewards nor punishes.’
13. Their wealth will be stolen and their houses ruined. They will not live in the houses they have built, nor will they drink the wine from the vineyards they have planted.
14. The Lord’s great day of judgment is almost here; it is very rapidly approaching! There will be a bitter sound on the Lord’s day of judgment; at that time warriors will cry out in battle.
15. That day will be a day of God’s anger, a day of distress and hardship, a day of devastation and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and dark skies,
16. a day of trumpet blasts and battle cries. Judgment will fall on the fortified cities and the high corner towers.
17. I will bring distress on the people and they will stumble like blind men, for they have sinned against the Lord. Their blood will be poured out like dirt; their flesh will be scattered like manure.
Hell, replace "Jerusalem" in verse 12 with "Red States", and I'll convert to Xtianity.
