France: prison for authors of anti-Semitic graffiti on a mosque

LILLE (France) - Two men close to the skinhead movement were sentenced Thursday in France to prison for the anti-Semitic tags and racist graffiti on the mosque in Tourcoing (north), a prosecutor said Friday.

The two men, aged 43 and 40, were sentenced to 18 months in jail, 12 suspended, and 12 months in jail, nine suspended, for "malicious damage to a building of worship."

Inscriptions as "Die Israel will win" or "fucking Jew", full of spelling errors, were found early March on the door and the front of the mosque in Tourcoing. Officials of the place of worship had complained ...

Now thats just plain retarded. I can't believe they were in their 40's. Id expect that behaviour from teenagers but not men that old. There's a serious lack of maturity. The funny thing is that a lot of people would pretend to defend the act. I don't really care if a lot of the muslims are as batshit crazy as social conservative can get. You should judge on a person to person basis, despite ethnicity, nationality, or religion. If some of these American Christians were thrown in the same political environment as the middle east, you'd probably see as many Christian terrorists as Muslim terrorists.
