For the efforts of churches following the teachings of Christ are usually totally ignored by the mainstream media. And don't even talk about the ecumenical efforts being made by people of many different faiths. There was recently one of these meetings in Dallas TX, which I reported here. NO one here had even heard of it, and that included DUers in the DFW area.
