This news story is from May, but the news of the court case is all over radio in Los Angeles this morning.
One of the stories this morning mentioned that Santana's employee wasn't "spiritually calibrated" enough. Or something like that.

"Supernatural" guitarist Carlos Santana is facing a wrongful termination lawsuit brought by a former employee who says he was fired because he was not "enlightened" enough.
A spiritual adviser for Santana and his wife, Deborah, told the couple that the employee wasn't close enough to God and his finding led to the firing, according to the lawsuit.
The man is seeking more than $100,000 in damages.

But people come up with all kinds of things when they are fired. Even when the former employer is not famous. I've seen it happened.
The suit may well be justified. Guess we'll find out.
