World Awaits Papal Aide’s Apology
A senior papal aide, Cardinal Walter Kasper is expected to say sorry to the world specifically to the United Kingdom for allegedly remarking “third world” pertaining to the UK after arriving at Heathrow airport.

Additionally, the aide also supposedly told Focus, a German magazine, that the UK showed a new and aggressive atheism. With the two statements he allegedly made, a Catholic Church leader based in Scotland, Cardinal Keith O’Brien remarked that he anticipates for the apology of the Catholic official.

O’Brien, however, called the said comment as unfortunate and that individuals do utter awkward and difficult remarks and that apologizing is warranted for such behavior and Kasper, on his part, will surely say sorry.

While Kasper is not part of the pope’s UK visit because of his gout, the pope will have to face several protesters made by groups specifically humanist, secular, atheist and gay rights groups. As expected, he will be handling public concerns about the controversial sexual abuses made by some priests, priest celibacy and the ordination of women into priesthood.

The Catholic Church defended Kasper’s remarks saying that the third world statement pertained to the UK’s multicultural society.

1. New popemobile, I see... snazzy glass cage.
But, of all the things I can think that the Vatican has to apologize to, somehow this doesn't make the top of the list.

4. And, to a large extent, the church itself. The Vatican "rat line" helped hundreds of nazis
relocate with new names and identities and Vatican passports. And if the absolute truth be told, the hands of the United States are NOT clean either, not by a long shot.

5. I find it absolutely hilarious that anyone from any tired, antiquated religion would refer to any
nation as "third world." Love the graphic. Thank you.
