The Ultimate Biblical Knowledge Quiz
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGNjZTc95LU

Ten questions, multiple choice. Identify the scientific foreknowledge of the given Bible passage (only revealed after the scientific advance of course). Answers are given at the end. I performed dismally, maybe the followers of more sophisticated theology will do well.

(Answers taken from Conservapedia.)

1. Such BS.

The Biblical verses cited are as unspecific as anything written by Nostradamus, yet we're supposed to believe that said verses predicted specific things that were later proved to be "correct" by science. Answers provided by Conservapedia.

Right.

Who believes such stupid tripe?

What's next? John Edward doing cold readings of quantum mechanics?

I'm assuming the YouTube video was posted to expose the absurdity of Conservapedia.

3. Don't worry if you answered "wrong"
You didn't. Because the answer to all of the questions is actually "none of the above." This guy isn't a Biblical scholar and there is no such thing as "scientific foreknowledge" in the Bible. it would be far more wise to stick with the prophecies about the Messiah which actually came true in Jesus Christ. The "Conservapedia" is just a distraction from the truth, which is more fascinating than the "answers" to the questions in the video.

4. I think you missed the point of the video.
And the prophecies of the Messiah that came true in JC are pretty contrived, too. Why do you think there is the whole census thing in there where they had to go back to Bethlehem? And why Joseph is in there at all? So that the prophecy of where the Messiah would come from would "come true."

Plus, add in the fact there is no proof for a historical Jesus.

6. About what you'd expect if you just guessed at the answers beforehand.
On my second viewing (a little over 4 weeks after the first), I'm up to 4/9.
