Look busy, y'all
There are 24 shopping days left till Christmas.

And 171 days left until Jesus' second coming.

That's the message on 40 billboards around Nashville, proclaiming May 21, 2011, as the date of the Rapture. Billboards are up in eight other U.S. cities, too.

Fans of Family Radio Inc., a nationwide Christian network, paid for the billboards. Family Radio's founder, Harold Camping, predicted the May date for the Rapture.

Their message is simple — "He Is Coming Again" — and their aim is to get unbelievers to turn around quickly. But critics say the billboards are a waste of time, one more failed attempt to predict the end of the world.

1. That is part of that song also. It is more obvious.

Nobody knows the time of the end. Also part of the stuff I see in that song, and part of my belief as posted many times.

Wanting the rapture I never understood that, what about all the people left behind? How could anyone be happy in heaven knowing someone is in hell

Yea the song has that in it also.

2. I think is has been written that
God and Lucifer will reconcile and all the minions, too. One day all will be restored to heaven.

4. they should re-read Mark
26 “At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.

...

32 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.

7. Of course those that believe in the trinity should reread that passage
If they are all one, how does 1/3 know but not the other 1/3 (Holy Spirit is put on either side).

8. not necessary
if a person believes in the existence of a three-in-one God like many Christians do, Im sure they have no doubt already accepted that the trinity is an ineffable mystery. I.e. if something can be 3 seperate, distinct entities yet simultaneously be one, then the problem you pose is no real problem.

IIRC the buddhists & Hindus are big into paradoxes similar to this, as was Homer Simpson. ("Could Jesus microwave a burrito so hot that he himself could not eat it?" -Homer Simpson)
