Summation on a few things.
Edited on Sat Dec-11-10 08:53 AM by RandomThoughts
If you have read previous post you may be able to see some things.

First off there is a delusion that 'fallens' are to be hated and destroyed. While some think those in turmoil should be healed with love, while not doing what you feel and think is bad.

I think the delusion that they should or will be destroyed does not make sense.

For those that think it is about destruction and believe in the Holy Texts.

Answer this.

Why did God cast down the fallens to Earth, then create Adam and Eve in the same place where those fallens could be with them? Either people were created to be destroyed by fallens, or people were created to heal the fallens, to help them find love and peace again.

So what is the purpose and meaning of human existence?

And if you think it is destruction, can you throw the first stone, I can't.

Side note, there are many things out there that have spread much love and kindness, from that I think on function not label.

1. Ok now that the meaning of life is figured out.
What should be next. :)

7 times 6 equals 42.

Funny that some might use parts of the Genesis story but not all of it, and shriek and say 'apple'

Going to stick with.

 :loveya:

3. Reality is a way for All That Is to know itself.
Carl Sagan said much the same.

"We wish to pursue the truth, no matter where it may lead. But to find the truth we will need imagination and skepticism both. We will not be afraid to speculate, but we will be careful to distinguish speculation from fact. The cosmos is full beyond measure of eloquent truths, of exquisite interrelationships, of the awesome machinery of nature. The surface of the earth is the shore of the cosmic ocean. On this shore we've learned most of what we know. Recently we've waded a little way out, maybe ankle-deep -- and the water seems inviting. Some part of our being knows this is where we came from. We long to return. And we can, because the cosmos is also within us. We are made of star stuff. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself." ~Carl Sagan

There is only one thing we need: LOVE

 - All of us........

4. The world is much more nuanced than simple black-and-white choices.
Accepting your premises for the sake of discussion, why must the relationship between people and "fallens" be a binary option of either destruction or salvation? Why is there no possibility that the two groups were meant to simply coexist? Why no possibility that they were meant to never interact? Were the "fallens" cast down into Eden, or outside the Garden? If it was outside, humanity would not have been meant to interact with them unless their expulsion from Eden was predetermined.

Also, why must human existence have a defined purpose and meaning?

5. The purpose of human life is the same as the purpose of all life.
The sun produces energy which is destined to be lost in the vast reaches of interstellar space, wandering eternally in the spaces between the stars. That is the sun's purpose. Life's purpose is to interfere with that solar purpose by sidetracking and storing the sun's energy. Look at the most perfect examples of immortality: coal, oil, natural gas. Life's success stories.

Not complicated, really.
