God Bless the God Blessers |

Edited on Tue Mar-08-11 06:38 PM by itsrobert
You know, the ones on Facebook, Twitter, and any other social networking site. They seemingly go around to post off-the-wall 'God Blessings' without any connection to the subject at hand. A lot of it is 'God Bless the Troops.' Now who is against that? Not too many people. But why post it in a random thread or discussion that has nothing to do with the troops? What motivates these God Blessers? Many of them use to say God Bless President Bush (and the troops). Weird that God Blessing the President today has gone down. What changed? Now it is simply 'the troops', no President. Why do they tell us, 'if you agree with this' repost it on your Facebook page? If you agree with 'God Blessing the God Blessers' repost this in your Facebook page.

1. Anyone who uses "God" or "the troops" as a protective cloak to further the division |

of people with different political views is cheapening the value of both.
I despise people who wear either on their sleeves. God would certainly not approve of what happened/is happening in Iraq, & if those keyboard warriors really supported the troops they'd have signed up to stand alongside them. What they're really supporting is their sad fantasies of John Wayne movies where there's a good guy fighting the bad guy. But in reality, they've been lied to about who the bad guy was.
