Why do the Christain religious always have to pick fights with the irreligious or minorty religions? |
|
If they'd keep their proselytizing to their own personal sphere, we'd have no lawsuits and no problems.

and it is not something that they will like.
The Catholic Church stopped doing this shit a while ago... hell, they are struggling to keep numbers.
Judaism stopped doing this even earlier...
But All the reformation religions have that zeal that comes from a young revealed faith. In that sense they have something in common with Islam... which is also a young faith... older than, but still young.
And young revealed religions have this issue about sharing in the message.
That is why...

2. those Christians who vigorously engage in confronting other's beliefs |
|
are actually fighting a much more aggressive campaign to convince themselves that they really believe the mythological Christology that they, in fact don't really believe in.
If they can convince another person it becomes the basis for proving to themselves that they really believe.

I was once being harassed by a Born Again Christian while walking down the sidewalk, when I made the mistake of telling him I was Buddhist. It was like some alarm went off in his head that he just had to "SAVE" me. I finally confronted him and asked why it was so important to him, what I believe in? Wasn't his own belief enough?" It made him pause long enough for me to jump into a taxi and get away. Thank you YELLOW CAB!!

No prayers at pubic events? No problem.
Really, we all know that you are the coolest kids in the country but the First Amendment gives protection for us nerds.

12. i like to say that while it allows people to practice their religion freely |
|
it also protects the rest of us from their religion as well. why is it they can't keep their damned religion to themselves. if i want religion i will go to church. if I want to be 'saved' I will go to a church to be 'saved'. I was dragged to church my whole childhood and once I was able to make that decision for myself I quit doing it. And I should not have to be forced to endure it from these folks. I don't go trying to take their beliefs away from them. I only do that when they persist and refuse to take a hint.

7. These Christians are no different than any other fanatical religion. |
|
They wish to destroy anything that does not fit their made up view of perfection that their preacher told them God desires. I wish they would take their imported Eastern cult and go straight to hell. their agenda is my way or the highway. All I can say us better the hammer than the nail.

10. They like to engage with people who disagree with them, it's a technique they use. |
|
If you are passionate enough to get into a disagreement/argument with them than you can be converted (to their way of thinking). The best way to turn them off and get rid of them is show total disinterest.

As the dominant religion in the US, there can be an attitude of ignoring the needs of others, at best, and attacking others, at worst.

13. Because in their hearts they know |

that it can't be true, either. This scares them and they react because they have never tamed or trained their minds. They indulge in wallowing in their emotions and fear produces hate.
